Become a Trustee
We are currently inviting applications from professionals to sit on the board of trustees.
This is an exciting time with the Old Schoolhouse restoration and activities still to be developed in detail and funding, both HLF and match-funding still to be secured. With so much to do there's quite a wide choice of creative and rewarding avenues open for new appointees to chose from.
We are particularly looking for professionals with expertise in accountancy, finance and funding, governance and CRS. Applications from those with expertise or experience of heritage building restoration and/or community projects will also be very welcome - experience of Heritage Lottery grant development & delivery, or experience with projects similar to the Old Schoolhouse Restoration Project especially so, but such experience is NOT a pre-requisite.
As little as an hour or two a month in this unpaid voluntary role can have a big and lasting impact and consequently be very rewarding.
If you are interested in becoming a trustee and can attend at least four board meetings a year, in the first instance please email: firstname.lastname@example.org giving your field of expertise and/or interests along with your contact details.

Teaching classes and workshops
Call to all artists, craftspeople, designers and musicians...
Are you a professional working artist, musician, designer or craftsperson who would like to pass on your skills and earn money at the same time - either in one of our studio workshops or your own studio or workshop?
We are particularly on the lookout for fashion designers, art directors and illustrators as well as those experienced with Victorian printing techniques (including both flatbed and letterpress).
We hope to start workshops and courses later this year (2012), so need to have you engaged and ready to rock and roll well as soon as possible.
